I just watched this documentary called "the cove" about dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan. Although social justice is more my field the cruelty to dolphins portrayed in this documentary was utterly inhumane and the footage they got (after an incredible amount of preparation) of dolphins being slaughtered made my heart ache. They rounded the beautiful creatures into this cove and spear at them ruthlessly, until the entire cove turns the kind of red that is terrifying. More than 20,000 dolphins and porpoises are slaughtered there each year. Watch this film. And go onto: http://www.thecovemovie.com/ to stop this injustice.
