I was already quite a fan of Google's street view technology but now they've gone crazy cool with the Google Art Project that allows you to look into museums like Tate Britain, MoMA and The Smithsonian.

 

And you can look really close into paintings.

 

AHH TECHNOLOGYYY. Its such an interesting concept though - to be able to now have the museum itself brought to you through computer screens, and see it as a seated experience, in your own room and own context.
