A wee while ago my friends and I escaped for two nights to "The Paintbox", which is otherwise known as the smallest and cutest house in Oamaru. All the objects inside the house are tiny (including the coffee plunger) and the outside of the house is painted a dusty pink -- a beacon of love overlooking the township and sea. Although we were caught in a spontaneous blizzard on the way home, I remain so fond of this doll house dream.
