heaven is a sliding stone

A few weekends ago my family participated in a game of curling. Curling is the best sport in the world. Heaven is an ice rink with rubber grip soles and peaceful, sliding kettles. Sadly, the only curling I'm doing at the moment involves being curled up in a tiny ball both wishing for time to slow down and, contrarily, speed up.
