Much love monday

 

Making things! In the afternoon I went over to my friend's house who lives just up the road, and baked gingey men. Well I didn't really bake them...but I made little labels on Indesign and printed them on brown paper envelopes for the cookies using Aimee's HUGE fancy computer and printer.

The development of technology is crazy and scares me sometimes but times like these where it makes awesome things for me I will write Much Love Monday posts about it.

Day 07 - Your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality. 
Haa I always used to consider myself a Taurus because when I was littler this boy I liked was Taurus and my real sign wasn't compatible with his etc etc so I told everyone I was Taurus. Which obviously is stupid because they could just look up my real birthday for themselves. 


 Day 08 - A moment you felt the most satisfied with your life.  When I used to rollerblade down the hill really skillfully without crashing into cars because I was a wild child.

Oh heeey all.

Today I sat my media scholarship exam and it was STRANGE. Only me and another girl were writing it and the examiner gave us cookies. I had this huge rant about how copyright doesn't make the everyday person a criminal but in fact an artist by looking at the copyleft movement and creative commons (flickr or wikipedia anyone?). Tomorrow I am working for a long time with minimal pay hmmp but hopefully in the afternoon I will get my Hayao Miyazaki on. Oh my gosh I love his films. If I could EVER be attracted to a cartoon/animation it would be one of his designs. They are INCREDIBLE and I grew up with them so they're like my 2 dimensional childhood sweethearts. Anyway, here are some drawings (they're shit) BUT SO FUN.

Day 05 - A time you thought about ending your own life.

Lou: Moving cities a lot is a BIT draining but when life involves BLOGGER how could I ever think about that? LOLJK life is a TAD beyond blogger and the internet. It's beautiful.

Day 06 - Write 30 interesting facts about yourself.
Are you SERIOUS? 30? Neeever. But here are a few: I am a twin, I have lived in Boston, my parents went to Harvard as post grads, I am going to India in the holidays and I have been on Campbell Live for more than 3 minutes.

The unnecessary purchases of fabrics I got from spotlight the other day. The top one looks quite strange here but I couldn't resist because A) it was on sale and B) it had little tassel feather things. Which could look horribly wrong or strange good.


Today I asked my boss if he could be willing to provide a reference for me if I wanted to apply for jobs in the future, and he said yep maybe, but if the hours turn out to be same as working here then I will say no, I will not let you take her. HEHEHEHE. 

Day 03 - Your views on drugs and alcohol.

Always be classy. But also, you're only young once, and you're only allowed to be stupid and reckless during this time etc. Then again, don't be stupid. And don't be ridiculous with it.

Day 04 - Your views on religion.

UM. I believe religion is good in a way that it can help one through their lives, and is something they can rely on to always be there. Having a belief is admirable. I don't think I have a religion. Also, youth group is fun.

A rather eclectic Much Love Monday

Hi there! What I am loving today is strawberries and lemonade. BUT also two frame animations (made by sticking two photos together). They're RALLY RALLY cute and once you start doing them you'll never ever stop. Here are some that I did:

Tomorrow morning Aps and I have our Physics external so we're a BIT stressed and that explains this REALLY half-hearted Much Love post. Don't worry, we'll try to impress you heaps and heaps once exams are DONE and DUSTED. DONE and DUSTED, two (not counting and) brilliant words that we all strive to apply to a goal or task. Also we are going to do a meme list thing to strengthen our emotional relationship with you (the reader). So grin and bare it (like you do once you realise your Grandma is about to launch into her current favourite obsession like that Royal Young Chap getting married).

Day 01 - Your current relationship, if single discuss how single life is. Lou: My current relationship is like when one fabulous wave crest meets another gorgeous wave crest and together they constructively interfer. (Physics on the brain...)

Day 02 - Where you’d like to be in 10 years. Lou: In a house so little that my feet and arms stick out the windows and doors.
