If you're in Auckland...

This week the Ministry of Art and Design (MoAD) and Unitec are hosting New Zealand's first ever Art & Design Week to showcase some of the coolest NZ talent with designers and artists across all disciplines, including lighting design, jewellery, furniture, photography, accessory... They're in Auckland at 110-116 Carlton Gore Road, Newmarket from 13th to 21st November. Sometimes I feel like nothing ever happens down here in Wellington (only sometimes though).

One of the labels being showcased is Sensitive Boyfriend (conceptual designer Drus Dryden), who has been "cooking you breakfast and writing you poetry since 2008." Aww. Here is some of his work. I love the cheeky humour and quirkiness.
