Woops! It's not only what Sandy is wearing today but also what I am wearing (hehe I snuck in  a few photos). Today Sandy's pink dress is from Dries Van Noten. And my outfit? Really old Keep shoes, vintage blouse and Oscar shorts plus a $1.00 hat from Savemart! Nice!

I love the photos that my cousin, Kit, takes. From the little, tiny bits of information I've heard from him, I think he's in Europe (and might now be in the U.S.) just doing his thing, but who knows? I love the rabbit photo and the one of the girl leaning on a rubbish tip. In the final picture the style of these girls is delicious too - such hip, beautiful things. Keep having a joyful Easter. Chocolate and wine and candles.

much love monday: socks!

This photo (courtesy of Zane P.) is of me wearing socks and looking ferocious. The Arthur Barnett's bag only adds to the appeal. HA. So this weeks Much Love Monday object is SOCKS! How cute are these little items of clothing that everyone mocks when received as a Christmas present? I am especially loving the brand 'Happy Socks' which make me feel playful when I am wearing them. I demand everyone ask me what type of socks I have on and yell 'HAPPY SOCKS' then I proceed to run at the question asker like a bull of glee. HA. Check out their website here. It's SO EXCITING.

A night at Slick Willy's, Dunedin

After a week of seemingly perpetual studying and learning we decided we absolutely MUST socialise. Aps took us to a Fringe Festival volunteer meeting, where we were blindfolded and trained to deal with irate show-goers. It was rather bizarre but it's the Fringe Festival...oddity is NEVER filtered out.

Later, Aps pulled Charlotte and I along to a popular Dunedin clothing store called 'Slick Willy's' which was having a celebrate-the-new-season party. Here we lavished looove onto those beautiful red velvet cupcakes (we had forgotten what real food tastes like) and sipped Chardonnay while chatting to local artists, the store owners and of course, April's absolute idols, the cute designers from 27 Names.

Aps' cheeks went red with delight at this oh-so-suaaave night.
